With that kind of cooperation from the State of Utah, it didn’t take too much effort to put in another 400 mile day. The scenery along I70, through central Utah, made it hard to remember that this portion of the journey is just supposed to be a quick shot to Chicago to begin the actual work.

I’m bedded down in Grand Junction CO tonight and hoping to cover the width of the state tomorrow, stopping just short of Nebraska.

My new little Navajo friend reminded me to tell you that you can view my WordPress blog on your smartphone with the app available at the GooglePlayStore if you’re an Android. iPhone probably has one, too. I’ll check with the Apaches tomorrow.
