Epilogue

Thank you all for following along on this ride.  I have greatly appreciated your company, commentary, emails, text messages and encouragement.  I feel very fortunate to be able to ride and to experience all of the sensory inputs that accompany this mode of travel.  The personalities encountered along the way form a great collection of memories that are lasting.  Your support during these trips inspires each step forward, each day.

As an integral and public part of this blog, your comments are being viewed in the USA, France, Italy, Canada and Hong Kong, according to the site-statistics report.  Views are approaching 3,000 as of this writing.

As 26 days, 5,267 miles and 106 hours of actual riding time come to a close I wish to thank the good Lord for watching over my family in my absence and for providing me with a safe return to them.  I also wish to thank innumerable law enforcement agencies in 9 states, 2 provinces and 2 countries, for not finding it necessary to issue any form of documentation certifying my rates of travel.

  2. I’m glad to see that you’re back home safely again. You had quite the ride! I’m sorry we missed you in Victoria, but I’ll see you when I get back from my own Canada, (no Akaska), trip.

  3. Congrats on another great well planned trip. Glad your home safe. We enjoyed reading your daily posts and pictures. Your highlight had to be visiting your grandparents homestead.

  4. Rich, fantastic trip. I need to work on seeing the sights and smelling the roses as I travel by motorcycle.. You do it very well. Your pictures are certainly from an artistic point of view and we really enjoyed them. My brother and I rode the ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy on our way back from Alaska. Janice and I did put our deposit in on the Motoquest Isle of Man tour in May of 2016.
